Nice information on the blog. Removing large trees is a mammoth process and only experienced arborists who are completely insured to perform this task. We need to take all necessary precautions while removing trees so that nearby buildings, electric wire and other obstacles are not damaged.

Yeah, it may be a victory for Braintree, but the damage is already done. The neighbors still get the shaft, taking the hit on their property rights, environment and real estate values.

In the Olympic Village (Laconia, Sparta, Odyssey and Messinia) Several houses (basements primarily) experienced flooding during this flood. It was not the worst we have seen but it was substantial.

I saw the 40B article in the Townsman and sympathize with your group. I was the Neighborhood Representative on the Northfield Commons 40B project that was just approved in June. I went to and spoke out at every Town Hearing. I am familiar with the process and may be able to help by informing you of what our group went through. I don’t quite know how to set up a wordpress acct or balardvale.net acct to add posts but I don’t mind communicating by email.
It appears your group has researched the issues and may not need any help but if someone wants to have a cup of coffee and talk for 20 minutes or so I’d be glad to share my thoughts. The particular area of interest (orange link) was not just flooded it was completely submerged. And, as indicated, the Mother’s day storm was not the worst flooding in this particular area. My house did not flood that day. None of my immediate neighbors were flooded, either. The patch you see in this article is prone to flooding, therefore may not be the best choice for building.
